You are more beautiful than you know

Thanks to colleague Doug Wilson I just watched the most, well beautiful, Youtube video.  It turns out to be an advertisement for Dove soap, but never mind that.  The essence of the message is that we are all so much more beautiful than we know.  We are often so busy seeing what is wrong with who we are and how we look and wondering if others see our flaws that we don’t notice our beauty and the joy that we give others.  Given that we strengthen the neurological networks connected to what we pay attention to it makes so much sense that when we pay attention to what is wrong with us, we tend to see it more often.  And when we are aware of what is right with us, then we are so much more able to access that awareness.  If we could only see ourselves through others’ eyes!  Enjoy
