Welcome to the Discussion in the Garden: An Explanation and An Invitation

I began writing this blog several years ago at the advice of friends and colleagues who suggested that it would help bring people to my web page.  The problem was that I wasn’t sure what my true purpose was, and so I only posted occasionally.  I didn’t want to be just another person cluttering up in-boxes with facile posts just to have a web presence.  And so I meandered.  As so often happens, however, as one walks through a garden, one’s way becomes clear. And so it has for me.

The Relationship Garden Blog is a place to share personal experiences on the journey towards healthy, healing, whole-hearted loving relationships.  In this space I will share my own journey – my struggles, puzzlements and triumphs – as I work to be the best I can be in my relationships with colleagues, family, friends, and with the greater human community.  I will continue to post dialogues from my book-in-progress:   Coming Home:  Conversations That Bring You Home to the Relationship You Always Knew Was Possible. I will share book and movie recommendations, and videos that I find intriguing or inspiring. And occasionally I will comment on events in the world outside of the garden, and venture opinions on issues that seem pertinent.  My intention is for this blog to be a safe place to share our thoughts, experiences and challenges as we explore what it means to create loving, joyous, passionate and healing relationships.  Please feel free to add your insights.  Welcome to the Garden!
