In the vast landscape of the American Southwest, distances between towns can be far, making it difficult to attend regular therapy sessions. If your location makes it difficult for you to find a good therapist with the specialty or training you are looking for, you have several options:
Allow you to continue your healing journey on a more frequent basis. Like in-person sessions, most Skype sessions are an hour in length and enable you to address concerns on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
In order for Skype sessions to be safe and effective it is essential for there to be a personal relationship with your therapist before starting the Skype sessions. A minimum of five hours of face to face time is a prerequisite for all Skype sessions. If we do not already have a therapeutic history together, this can be accomplished by attending a workshop, or scheduling a private intensive. Skype sessions are paid for online, and following your session you will receive via email a brief summary of what was discussed as well as thoughts for work that you can do on your own in between sessions
Individual or Couples’ Intensives
Provide a concentrated approach to breaking out of dysfunctional patterns and making significant progress in a short period of time. Intensives are designed to meet your personal concerns and needs and may be scheduled by themselves or as a follow up to a Getting the Love You Want workshop. Another approach is to schedule a half day intensive once a month, providing you with a powerful, ongoing way to continue working on creating the life and relationship you want.
