Love That Lasts - Preparation for Marriage

Our six week marriage preparedness program is designed to give engaged and recently married couples a solid relationship foundation for a lifetime of love. This personalized approach gives all couples basic information about the nature of healthy relationships while addressing each couple's individual concerns.

The program covers the basics of healthy relationships, effective communication skills and conflict resolution. In addition each couple may choose from among such topics as:

Planning your wedding
Concerns about finances and different approaches to money management
Concerns about having children
Parenting decisions
Creating blended families
Relationships with parents, in-laws and friends
Enhancing sexual intimacy

Couples may choose to "pay as you go" and sign up for as many sessions as you need, or you may receive a discount for paying in advance for the complete six week program.

In addition to private counseling the Wissahickon Center offers a yearly Preparation for Marriage class, "Keeping Love Alive," which is held each spring.

All graduates of our premarital program receive a $200 discount to the Getting the Love You Want Workshop.
